[News] Prof. Se-Bum Paik has been appointed as an Associate Editor of Science Advances Journal

Professor Se-Bum Paik, from the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences, was appointed Associate Editor of the prestigious journal Science Advances on March 1, 2025.

Professor Paik participates in the review and editing of research papers in the Neuroscience field and plays an important role in spreading important scientific findings to researchers around the world.

Professor Paik also has also served as an Associate Editor and Editorial Board member for various neuroscience journals including the Springer-Nature and Frontiers groups.

[News] Suhee Cho has received the Talent Medal of Korea (대한민국인재상)

Congratulations! Suhee Cho, a former member of our lab, has received the Talent Medal of Korea (대한민국인재상).

Suhee Cho has been honored with the Talent Award of Korea, which recognizes individuals likely to become future leaders of Korea for their exemplary talents and outstanding contributions to society.

She received this recognition for her academic achievements, particularly her research on “Neuromimetic Metaplasticity for Adaptive Continual Learning.”

[News] Dr. Kim has been selected as Simons Postdoctoral Fellow

Congratulations! Dr. Gwangsu Kim, an alumnus of our lab, has been selected as a Simons Postsdoctoral Fellow from the Simons Center for the Social Brain at MIT.

Dr. Kim will receive extensive support for his research on, “Computational Modeling of Joint Encoding of Visual and Valence Cues in Amygdala”.

This fellowship is intended for outstanding candidates with recent PhDs, who wish to conduct autism-related research at MIT under the mentorship of MIT faculty mentors.
